  • I have my child for 3 years in crayon corner. I like the teachers . My son tells me they go outside everyday, plays puzzles, coloring and learning abc's.

The staff are rude and argumentative. The facility is clean but seriously lacks security and safety, specifically the safety gates in- and outdoors. The infant room is under-stimulating, very little toys and they don't go outside. One staff member seems to be good with the children, but the rest ignore them, even when they fall down and cry. The TV is on all day. The food is horrible and they push you to join the food program. Every day my son was starving when he came home but his lunch box and cup were empty. They put the kids down for a nap at 11am. That's way too early, especially for older children. Also, the child-to-staff ratio was way too high. One morning I went in and there were at least 25 children and one staff member. During the tour and enrollment I asked if he could be in the infant room was because the other group of children I saw during the tour were much older, like 9 years old and they didn't have any children there in his age group. I said when there are more children his age he can move to the other room. When there were more, they said no because he isn't potty trained. (My child is almost three but has sensory issues.) When I asked if he could go outside with the older children who were 3-5 years old, they said, "No, because you asked if he could be in the infant room." I reminded them that they said they can't put him with other children until he's potty trained and she had no answer other than no, he can't go outside. However, half of the time I came to pick him up, he was in the room with the older kids watching TV. During enrollment they were aware that he had developmental therapists come in and work with him. After a couple weeks they were upset and complaining to me and to the therapists about the frequency and length of their visits.
